A flurry of activity canvassed the Belle Sauvage backstage area 30 minutes before the show; a missing model, various stages of giant dip dyed fringes being snipped at, and a hive of Body Shop make-up artists ready to create the show's smoky eyes and statement red lip on the waiting girls. Fast forward to show time and slender figures with Japanese inspired fascinators, giant bunches and block dip dyed fringes were making their way down the Fashion Scout catwalk to retro triply beats. The clothes? A plethora of Eastern prints and tones; Tiger and Dragon prints littered the collection, whilst baroque print mini dresses with delicate lace trim and peter pan collars and block leather panels took centre stage.
Gothic motives made a lasting effect, with some of the girls adorned with black beanies and some seriously skinny patterned leather trousers, topped off with some dominatrix style boots. The statement autumn/winter coat was absent, but in its place a collection of fur collars and capes in reds and blacks draped the models' shoulders as they slinked along the catwalk. The design duo's crowning look of the show? A monochrome blouse and skirt complete with below the knee suede black block heeled boots; perfection.
